The Prairie Club Selected as "Favorite Place to Stay" in Fairways + Greens

February 7th 2012 - The Prairie Club was recently selected as a "Favorite Place to Stay" in the February edition of Fairways + Greens Magazine. The honor was bestowed by Eric N. Hart, a Midwest Golf Travel Journalist, who had some good things to say about his stay. In the Fairways + Greens feature article "The Best of Everything", Hart says, "Already being (appropriately) mentioned as the "Bandon Dunes of the Midwest" The Prairie Club is an incomparable site for destination golf. This new (2010) and deservingly distinguished golf oasis is surrounded by the vast Nebraska Sand Hills dunes. And yet the grass, appropriately, is as green as their competition's envy. The Prairie Club provides top-notch accommodations for the few hours you won't be on its two vastly different 18-hole designs. . ." He goes on to note that with the addition of the Old School Course, the best is yet to come. He closes with, "Somehow, it's going to get even better than this." Unlike most publications, Fairways + Greens stays does not offer a numerical ranking system for their best golf courses. Instead, they offer a plethora of opinions from a variety of golf travel experts on the best courses, places to stay, and many things in between.
