June 11th 2012 - Tom Lehman captured his first Champions Tour victory in over a year with a win this past week at the Regions Tradition. The win marked Lehman's second-consecutive Regions victory, and his third major on the Champions Tour.
Lehman persevered through moderate rain on Sunday, which he admitted was not an easy task. Says Lehman, "I don’t like playing in rain. It makes me really uncomfortable. I just feel like I lose the rhythm of my swing."
Nonetheless, he kept it together and finished with a 4-under 68 on Sunday - his fourth straight round in the 60s. He held off strong charges from Bernhard Langer, Chien Soon Lu, and Fred Couples.
