Sand Hills AdventuresRecognized in 1976 as a National Natural Landmark, the Sandhills prairie is one of the few wildernesses left on our continent. Its sandy soil was found to be unsuitable for much farming, which led to its development as “God’s Own Cow Country”, and left most of the area uninhabited. While the early settlers didn’t catch on to the land’s potential for world-class golf (they were too busy warding off the native buffalo herds), they sure saw its potential for hunting wild game and fishing its crystal-clear lakes and rivers. Founded by lifelong conservationists, The Prairie Club is pleased to offer concierge hunting and fishing opportunities to our members.
