"From the moment that I first walked on the property in August of 2001, I knew that this land had the potential to become one of the most special golf courses in the world. In collaboration with Jim Wagner and Geoff Shackelford, we are eagerly awaiting our return to The Prairie Club to continue our exploration of the land set aside for The Old School. Here we have the opportunity to work in a landscape that has all of the advantages of the Sandhills courses, yet we also have the magnificent beauty of the canyon rim that plummets to the Snake River below. By utilizing the edge of the canyon as a strategic hazard, heroic carry, and dominating backdrop we can introduce a feature that will make The Old School course distinct amongst all of the Sandhills courses.
